A guy who has given guitar lessons to Steve Vai, Kirk Hammett and Larry Lalonde would already deserve to be mentioned, but this is only the beginning of Joe’s career: he released Surfing With The Alien in 1987 and struck platinum with an instrumental guitar album. His fluid sound, flawless execution and strong melodic sense helped him rise above the masses of shredders of the era. To this day, he continues to explore the possibilities of his own playing and still releases fascinating albums.
