Since U2 and Queen, no band had dared to be so ambitious and operatic, but Muse filled that void ever since 1999 and their first album, Showbiz. Matthew Bellamy is equally able as a singer, a pianist and a guitar hero, pushing the boundaries of the electric by including a Kaoss Pad and a Fuzz Factory inside his Manson models. In 2009 with the album The Resistance began their USA invasion and it is pretty clear that the English trio is here to stay.
