Led by the amazingly talented vocalist Freddie Mercury and by the smoothest-sounding guitarist on Earth (Brian May), Queen is a British national treasure. They started off in the early seventies playing progressive rock, then went on to include every possible kind of music there is (cabaret, hard rock, opera, waltz, disco...), making it their own every time. The 1975 single Bohemian Rhapsody remains an absolute summit in pop extravaganza.
