OK this is the official unofficial msb 2009 competition topic; now it's not a 2 or 3 months competitions, it's a full year one.
Dead line for submitions and volunteer judges is :
December, 31st 2008
27 competitors max
5 judges
Rules are :
- a competitor must submit a composition
- (in the "Official MSB 2009 competition" folder)
- a competitor must not be a friend of a judge
- if a competitor feels not inspired, he can forget the 1st rule and submit a tab from his/her favorite band (but he has to change the name because of copyright laws)
- compositions must not exceed 10 minutes long (so I can't compete)
- a judge can't give 5 stars rating twice (but 3 times or more is accepted)
- compositions can be rated by anyone, even non-msb members
- by the middle of 2009 (may/june) a competitor can buy the best rated composition if he got less than 2 stars and if the best rated competitor agrees (their transaction must remain secret, but paypal is accepted)
- a judge can give ratings from 0 to 5, every 1/17 (so for example : 0 + 1/17 = 0,0588
4+ 15/17 = 4,8823 )
- a competitor must not write anything in the F5 window (because of possible transactions between competitors)
- judges have to give their rating by the end of 2012 (before the next competition, in 2013)
OK now who's in ? you have 7 months and 17 days to take a decision so good luck and may the judges be with you !
PS: the official folder has to be created by the 1st volunteer.

Well, the judges' ratings have to be in by December 21, 2012, otherwise the end of the world as we know it may occur, totally fucking up the competition. Otherwise, I'm gonna get really high and write 13 tabs, I'm pretty sure Bruno will do the same, and then 1 other lucky member can submit the 27th. Sounds like a fuckin plan to me. I'm gonna go to work on it in mid-2011.

I'll submit the 27th. It's gonna be nothing but natural harmonics so I think I'm probably gonna win.
