80's - Songbook

It would be fair to say that the eighties were not really the golden age of the guitar, but precious gems are still to be found, generally courtesy of bands that were already ruling the decade before like AC/DC, The Stones, ZZ Top or Rush. But a few up-and-comers showed the world there was still good guitar music to be made in a world ruled by keyboards, like Blondie, Pat Benatar, or heavy metal bands Judas Priest, Trust and Living Colour.
