90's - Songbook
Guitar music had a huge vengeance in the nineties, coming from everywhere in sight. Britain had British Pop (Oasis) and the visionaries of Radiohead, the US had Grunge (Nirvana, Soundgarden), indie rock (Goo Goo Dolls, Foo Fighters) and a new-found faith in the acoustic guitar (Blind Melon, Counting Crows). Australia still had AC/DC (Thunderstruck anyone? don’t tell us you haven’t worked on playing THAT riff before) and of course Clapton found a whole new career as a spectacle-wearing middle-aged acoustic bluesman.
