Blind Faith
In 1969, Eric Clapton was no stranger to the idea of a supergroup since the power trio Cream had just split. Drummer Ginger Baker was still playing with him in his next project, but Blind Faith also included pianist, guitarist and singer extraordinaire Steve Winwood, the legendary Traffic frontman. Together, they only recorded one self-titled album and performed a handful of concerts, but their deep soulful blues is still one of the highlights of Clapton’s career.
