Take Me Out was definitely the single soundtrack for the year 2004. With that well-crafted piece of indie rock, the four Scots achieved superstardom and took their punk pop repertoire across the world. The dual guitar parts by Alex Kapranos and Nick McCarthy sound deceivingly simple but they actually contain lots of clever tricks that you would probably miss on first hearing.
