Jorge Ben

Most of the music we hear usually comes from Britain and the USA, but many other countries have their own musical stars. Jorge Ben Jor is extremely popular in his native Brasil, and brought samba to the rest of the world with his 1969 hit Pais Tropical. But he kept on pushing the boundaries of his style, switching from the acoustic to the electric and bringing rock and funk into his unique blend.
