Joseph Haydn
If Haydn had only been Beethoven’s music teacher he would already deserve to be mentioned, but this is merely a footnote in the Austrian composer’s contribution to the evolution of music. He shaped the classical period of the eighteenth century by redefining how a string quartet piece or a symphony had to be written showing amazing skills for every possible form. To this day, we still live in the musical world that Hadyn created.
