Limp Bizkit
Before it became the excuse of singer Fred Durst’s ego trips, Limp Bizkit was the most interesting rap metal band of the late nineties. They wrote a few hooky hits (Nookie, My Generation...) but the real fun starts when you concentrate on guitarist Wes Borland’s weird textures and massive riffs with a twist. His very personal playing was what made the Bizkit so special before the numerous changes of personnel turned it into self parody.
