Mötley Crüe
No band represents the sleaze and glamour of the eighties Los Angeles scene better than Motley Crue. Fronted by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, they became synonymous with all the excesses of rock ‘n’ roll, off stage and on stage. Guitarist Mick Mars added riffs and solos that went on to define the glam metal style of playing. Even though their classic albums hail back from the eighties (Girls, Girls, Girls in 1987 and Dr Feelgood in 1989), they keep a strong worldwide fanbase.
