Steely Dan
The seventies were a time for big hard rock anthems, but sophisticated pop jazz also had its place with Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Those two singers, songwriters and multi instrumentists led Steely Dan towards more than forty million albums sold including such classics as Aja and Pretzel Logic. In the studio or on stage, they always surrounded themselves with ridiculously talented musicians, including the guitar talents of Denny Dias, Larry Carlton, Jeff Baxter and Elliot Randall.
