Ten Years After
The year is 1969, the date August the 17th. It is day 3 of the Woodstock festival. A 25-year old British guitar player takes the stage, and blows everyone’s minds with his dazzling technique and speed on his red Gibson ES-335 with the bluesy shred solo for I’m Going Home. Alvin Lee and Ten Years After became a household name that day, and still continue to tour even though they broke up for the first time in 1974.
