Tracy Chapman
Tracy Chapman represents the new wave of singers / songwriters that came to prominence in the end of the eighties, almost thirty years after the Dylans of this world started off. After trying out her classic folk songs with her acoustic guitar in the streets and cafés, she released her eponymous debut in 1988, featuring Talkin’ Bout A Revolution and Fast Cars. The world immediately took notice and her deep low voice keeps on sending chills down the spine.
