Neo-classical arrangements - Songbook
Back in the early seventies, Deep Purple put classical organ sounds together with blues guitar, and then Yngwie Malmsteen came and took that mixture even further by using his Fender as a violin virtuoso would. The neo-classical approach was born. Guitar music of the eighties was deeply influenced by that stylistic turn, and the classical element is now deeply intrenched in many musicians’ vocabulary. This songbook will allow you to brush up on your neo-classical by working on the most popular romantic pieces. Beware of tendinitis though, those are fast !
