Having started in 1993 under the name Pezz, the Canadian pop punks of Billy Talent don’t need anybody to validate their indie credentials. Way before they became Billy Talent and hit the big time, they were already crafting their perfect mixture of heavy riffs, catchy vocal melodies, fuzzy guitar hooks and visual extravaganza. Guitarist Ian D’Sa is a true master in playing tricky parts and making them sound easy as can be, just like on the intro to Fallen Leaves.
