The godfather of punk, The Idiot, the Iguana… Singer and guitarist James Osterberg, also known as Iggy Pop, has had many public faces through the year. Had he retired in 1973 after three massively influential albums with The Stooges, he would still deserve his place in the History of Rock. He was the original punk singer with radical on-stage antics and a deep and raw voice. But he has also released many successful solo albums, including the masterpiece Lust For Life.
