A lot of bands followed Korn in their wake, but only a few had something interesting to say instead of just going with the flow. P.O.D. is the most successful survivor of the late-nineties nu metal wave, with more than 12 million albums sold, starting with their breakthrough 1999 third outing The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown. The open mind of guitarist Marcos Curiel, who also deals in prog rock and alt rock, is a huge part of that winning formula.
