Those four guys were only pretty faces brought together by the clothing merchants Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood, but their one and only album brought punk to the masses. 1977’s Never Mind The Bollocks was fat, agressive and took everything exciting about rock and made it new again. Johnny Rotten’s snotty vocals and Steve Jone’s wall of Les Paul remain undefeated.
