Most people know British composer Stanley Myer’s music through his work for movies and T.V., starting in the sixites until his death in 1991. But he also wrote the classic guitar piece Cavatina, originally played by classical genius John Williams. It was later included in the movie The Deer Hunter, in which it became a huge hit. It has been covered by a wide range of artists since then, including The Shadows.
