It has become impossible to listen to the opening palm-muted guitar chord from Eye Of The Tiger without somehow thinking of a boxing match. Survivor has had such a huge hit with this 1982 cleancut stadium rock classic that the band remains associated with the Rocky III soundtrack. They didn’t make it to the nineties but recently got back together and toured with their original members, including guitarist and founding member Frankie Sullivan.
