Wolfmother was exactly that kind of band: led by singer / guitarist Andrew Stockdale, the power trio took rock, psychedelia and early heavy metal and brought them into the 21st century. Their 2005 self-titled debut album remains a potent blend of AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.
